From 2022 autumn management works are being carried out in the approaches to Trakai Island Castle and it has been several weeks since the works moved to the castle's inner territory.
After the completion of the works, more rooms that have not been used so far will be adapted for visiting the Island Castle, and additional expositions will be installed.
It is also planned to carry out maintenance work on the castle yard and environment.
The scope of project works is ~ 4,5 million. Euros. It is planned to complete all maintenance work on the island castle in 2027.
After the renovation, the beauty of the Island Castle will be revealed in all its beauty - new spaces and expositions will be opened for visitors, and more comfortable visiting conditions will be created.
